Listening to The Game podcast and three of the pundits came up with similar starting 11s they would select for England against Iran.

Alyson Rudd came up with;

Ramsdale
Trent Stones Coady Shaw
Mount - Rice - Gallagher
Saka - Kane - Maddison

I don’t think anyone in SA thinks it’s a paradise, certainly not anymore. I think it’s highly debatable to claim it has a “much worse” HR record than Qatar as your original post did. I’m also not sure why as City fans anyone is interested in defending the Qatari state and absolutist monarchy to be honest, but that’s a seperate point
Comparing different countries‘ human rights abuse is pointless.
However, I would point out that SA in the apartheid era was as bad as it gets. I forget the date, (1976?) but the Soweto massacre summed it all up for me. About 125 people gunned down by the authorities, most of them children. Their crime was demonstrating against the imposition of Afrikaans in their schools.
The only political party I have ever joined was the ANC. I did not live in SA.
PS EDIT. Just looked it up. Was 1976. Death toll 176 minimum with some estimates as high as 500 (unlikely).

Sounds good. Our lads get a month’s warm weather training and R and R, whilst we go out at the group stage for the second time in 3 world cups.

You're right, things were better in the good old days....

Like Italy 1934....

And Argentina 1978...

Or Russia 2018...

Imagine the rainbow protests that would have gone on if the 1966 World Cup was on this month!

Rudd confirms her madness.
She wrote this week about fake Ron. She said he was “likeable”.

I’m not defending Qatar. I just want to see accurate and balanced media coverage.

I watched that this afternoon. What a crazy life he had before France and what a torrid 4 years he had after it. A good watch for those who haven't seen it.

That was a good watch imo and a good outcome for the player after a couple of years struggling with injury.

Would only watch anything regarding the Portugese Ponce if it guaranteed a himiliating failure.

Typical rags fuck up which is great to behold.

you can bet all these journos now reporting from Qatar from an expensive hotel with VIP treatment has no issues of all those migrant workers who built those hotels...
it was actually good they built it and the whatsapp group now dont have sleep in the desert with the hyenas and snakes.

We need a leaders scoreboard for all these bastions of moral virtue to see how many times they bring up human rights issues while in t.v or doing interviews with the organisers.

& the underpaid staff, driving, checking them in, preparing their food & rooms & carrying their luggage.

I wonder how much they tipped them knowing of their struggles……

They forgot to put the City crest on the picture next Jude Bellingham on purpose. Only 3 crests would fit on the picture next to Jude Bellingham, so they left the City crest out on purpose. Did I say on purpose? With the Liverpool crest on top on puprose.

Might as well leave the city crest off. Everything from the way he's acting the **** at Dortmund to his family 'demanding offers' suggests he's the type of individual we will walk away from.

You’d never get the British Empire doing anything like that, we’d probably settle it over a game of cricket or croquet.
