Clearly, how many touches Erling has, is the new stick to beat us with for the foreseeable future, in many ways it highlights their own lack of knowledge, because I bet if you asked any decent manager if they’d be happy having a striker who doesn’t contribute too much to a game (I think he does) but he’ll bag you goals, then they’d look at you like you were mad.
He’s a bit like ‘The Goat’ in many ways, one of those players who are in the right place at the right time and know where the net is, and that is absolutely priceless.

There was a Twitter thread years ago where (I think) Leon Knight absolutely destroyed him. Mainly about his wife and pretty horrible, but shows how much respect he gets from other players. Clue: it’s zero.

I don’t think he said anything wrong, they had a City fan who had a broad local accent and he just asked him about Grealish, it was the City fan who said he’s not sure he’s a City player.

O’Hara then said he looks devoid of confidence and a bit nervous every time he plays and then asks Cundy what he thinks Pep should do with him.

They both said how good Foden and Alvarez were/are and Cundy said Pep will work with Grealish and give him more time.

People have said worse on this website about Grealish.
