I was puzzled over the timeline and was considering soiling myself by checking the stories online, cheers for sparing me that.

The timeline is crucial. The Mendy parties had been going on since at least 2020 and a number of players have been listed as possible witnesses. It is still not clear when the police probe started and when the club knew. We will have to wait for the evidence.

That last minute winner in front of the South Stand still haunts me to this day - casually waltzing into the area whilst nobody raises an eyebrow.

To be fair he did get both a League Cup AND Europa League Cup runners up medal. They take pride of place on his mantlepiece next to his FA Cup runners up medal while at Villa.

I think being a 'journalist' and a weather forecaster are the two best jobs in the world.

It doesnt matter what shit you write or how poor your forecast is you just carry on. No one gets fired, nice easy jobs.
