Right lads I just might be the good luck charm for this game, so listen in. For the anniversary derby in 2008 I decided I had had enough of the media and the united players telling everyone how they just had to turn up and batter us. So I decided on a short holiday rather than listen or watch the game. I was at the airport when the game started and waiting to board surrounded by many rags when we scored the first goal. Got on the plane thinking we won't hang onto this. Even then, as now, I am never certain of winning unless we are two goals clear with less than a minute to go, old habits die hard. After about an hour of flying the captain came on and said he would tell us the result of the derby, City won. I gave a little cheer and wondered why I doubted the boys, we all did then. Anyway by sheer stupidity on my part I booked to go away this week so missing the derby, no Tommy Cooper requests please, they are gone. So that is why I may be the good luck charm as I will not be there. Enjoy the game blues and remember we are the better team and don't be fainthearted like me;-)
