Very small minority. In fact I may need to get my hearing tested. Because I was there and genuinely never heard anyone mention Hillsborough once. “murderers” has bigger all to do with that day and I don’t believe anyone shouting that or “always the victims” were ever thinking about that
Liverpool have been very cute by calling the chanting as songs about 'football stadium tragedies', thus lumping the Hillsborough disaster in with the Heysel tragedy. The chants were clearly about Heysel, but they managed to generalise it, just so they could be offended, yet again, causing the maggot media pile on.

Hillsborough chants are appalling, and need stamping out but not sure why the club should apologise for the actions of a small minority of idiots. I don’t recall United or Liverpool ever formally apologising in the past for Hillsborough or Munich songs? Also, an off the record briefing doesn’t constitute an “official position”.

Fair point. I can only see Liverpool officially apologising when their twitter account mocked Munich.
