Rent free :-)I saw that, we must be stuck in his brain.
Clearly got tickets for them to a big match.......the touting bastard.Ha ha yeah and they know who Bobby Charlton is etc
BBC appointed Mihir Bose as its first sports news editor in 2009. He kicked off with a report criticising the Etihad for its running track ruining the football. Of course he had never been there. YCNMIU.He did think arsenal played at the Etihad mind :-)
Didn't Sebastian Coe have a go at us for taking the athletic track out of the stadium even though it was moveda hundred yards away to athletic arena?BBC appointed Mihir Bose as its first sports news editor in 2009. He probably did, but I don’t remember that.Didn't Sebastian Coe have a go at us for taking the athletic track out of the stadium even though it was moveda hundred yards away to athletic arena?
Think he was pissed off the stadium was being turned into a football stadium rather than it being left as an athletic stadium
I may be mixing my drinks here but didn't we allow him the use of Maine Road whilst we were there for one of his God botheringHe probably did, but I don’t remember that.
The triple jumper Edwards complained that we were getting the stadium for free! Ffs, we gave them a huge site, Maine Rd, and a pile of annual rent. Not to mention we threw in dog shit alley for nothing. Unlike Wham, we paid for the conversion too.
How much did athletics pay for either stadium at Eastlands?
I don’t know, but I read somewhere that he no longer believes in god. Maybe true.I may be mixing my drinks here but didn't we allow him the use of Maine Road whilst we were there for one of his God botheringbrain washing sessionsseminars?
Who gives a flying fuck what that tory bastard Coe thinks. I was always a Ovett fan and couldn't cheer slimey Sebs Olympic gold. If the Etihad had remained an athletics stadium it wold have been a total white elephant, the current athletics arena is more than big enough for the crowds athletics attracts in the North West. I really didn't care as I wanted to stay at Maine Rd anyway.Didn't Sebastian Coe have a go at us for taking the athletic track out of the stadium even though it was moveda hundred yards away to athletic arena?

Hallelujah brother - my prayers worked!I don’t know, but I read somewhere that he no longer believes in god. Maybe true.
Coe certainly complained long and loud.Didn't Sebastian Coe have a go at us for taking the athletic track out of the stadium even though it was moveda hundred yards away to athletic arena?

Firstly, I'd say there are more important things happening in the big wide world and secondly it's the BBC aggressively plugging something that they have exclusive coverage of to try and boost viewing figures for the televising of the match. Why does it bother you so much?
Should it only be 'rammed down our throats' if they reach the final?

If you believed in God and all that, why would you spend your time trying to jump far?I don’t know, but I read somewhere that he no longer believes in god. Maybe true.

You feel woman's success should be a footnote then?Firstly, I'd say there are more important things happening in the big wide world and secondly it's the BBC aggressively plugging something that they have exclusive coverage of to try and boost viewing figures for the televising of the match.
I applaud the Lionesses for their success in the tournament and for the increased interest this has had on girls (and boys) in wanting to play (more) football but I don't think it merits being the lead story on the News at Six.
..because it's only women after all, yeah?Firstly, I'd say there are more important things happening in the big wide world and secondly it's the BBC aggressively plugging something that they have exclusive coverage of to try and boost viewing figures for the televising of the match.

Was that before or after she followed through? He did and Paula Radcliffe too, she said it had to remain an athletic stadium.
