Whoever was on talksport just before the Rags kick off was blowing smoke up pickfords arse and said he's the best keeper in Prem with his feet. I almost crashed the car CTID

He’s good with his feet is Pickford, but he’s nowhere near Eddie
Every time he's on tv they say the same nonsense about Pickford being so good with his feet, it's complete bollox, he panics if closed down in the box and regularly kicks clearances straight out of play, another fallacy perpetuated by idiotic media failing to use their own eyes to make judgement.

My lasting vision of Pickford is of him standing with his arm in a vertical position saying sorry for his latest bout of poor distribution.

All that needs to be said is,

Erling earns his pay, what ever that may be, because he’s the best in the world at what he does.

You earn what you do, what ever that may be, because you’re not the best in the world at what you do!

That should shut them up.

He used to do that a lot but he’s got much better and he can clip it into wide areas quite comfortably.

He’s still nowhere near Ederson’s ability with his feet tho.

Great news for City fans today in the times, Northcroft reckons that Pep could be on the way to becoming as good a manager as Arsene Wenger. Apparently now that Pep has “evolved” (not revolved) and brought in Haaland he is thereby ”suggesting he has the vision and ruthlessness to emulate the greats”. One of the “greats”who Pep hasn’t yet managed to emulate according to daft as a brush Jon is the reasonably successful Wenger

He must not have spotted the evolution of our swashbuckling 17/18 title team in to the more prosaic inverted wingers treble winning 2019 team and the revolutionary (in England) false 9 back to back title winning team of the last two seasons.

What do these fuckers think of when they’re watching games, don’t they notice what’s going on ?
This weekend we've had geordies ringing up the bolshie broadcasting company claiming Eddie Howe is a better manager than Pep and they will overtake us in five years without spending huge amounts of money. There's nothing wrong with optimism, but it seems blinkered crackpotism is spreading north.

You can understand there excitement and how we won a trophy after being took over after around 3 years!

Say they get top 6 this season next season they’ll be disappointed with top 6 and if they don’t win anything that enthusiasm will become bit more down beat but they win a trophy this year push on to being top 6 pushing for top four in the best 3/4 years that be a fantastic return for there owner

He isn't though. He will boot it out of play at least 3 times in every match.
As will most keepers but I think people are thinking of Pickford from a few years ago, he’s got better.

He’s comfortable clipping it into the wing areas to pick out a team mate, not many can do that.

I’d rate him as third with his feet, after Ederson who is miles clear, then Alisson.

It depends on what they consider huge amounts of money, the state owned club have spent £213 million in just one winter and one summer transfer window so far. Not exactly chicken feed.

The thing is, these Muppets claim they will emulate us without spending the sums we have. They don't seem to realise ffp would stop them anyway and our spending was basically forced on us before the door was slammed shut in our faces and that's before their club is run anywhere near the level that City is. I would be more than happy if they took the place of a red shirt club in the top four, but some of their fans are making it hard work.

They have a top squad now that will push them into that top 8 bracket consistently comfortably the step to top four then winning the league is massive and take years! Look at Arsenal under Arteta been about 3/4 years now they have a sniff will they win it in the future no idea..
