It's getting too funny now.

Matt Hughes at the Mail reporting our owner Sheikh Mansour isn't planning to attend the Champions League final.

How wonderful this 'journalist' has a hotline to the boss man, and knows his inner-most thoughts and plans.

Equally impressive, that the Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE would tell anyone his travel schedule as a risk individual on certain occasion.

And such a relief to know that Hughes, in his obvious educated guess attempt, coupled with the obvious intention to again slight anything to do with us, shows the convenient hypocrisy of these frauds in their writings.

Apparently, Sheikh Mansour is our owner again today.

Sorry Abu Dhabi, you will have to wait until the Cup Final to own us again :(

Hang on. Isn't this the perfect sportswashing opportunity. Mansour and the UAE are pretty low-key for something supposedly being used as "soft power".

I can almost understand why they would want to put an asterisk on our title wins from 14 18 and 19 as these are the years we've supposedly broke the rules . But this year , what have we done? If they throw in human rights then let's call a spade a spade. Will they put a big FUCKIN ASTERISK beside England 1966 world cup win due to its treatment of homosexuals and their human rights being violated??

Let's embrace this. Why don't we just put an asterisk on our badge? Or change our name to Manchasterisk City?

You would think, after all this time, putting a journalist on the mail staff that is totally pro City would get them clicks and kickback from the deluded masses they have already brainwashed.
The problem with angling a line against us for so long means the engagement stops. Everyone agreeing is not good for clicks and reader disharmony.
Look out for a hero on the horizon to ride in and stir the flies off the proverbial shit very soon.

Jack Gaughan is very fair and, as he covers the City patch for the Mail, does an excellent job in trying to stop one-way traffic.

Him and Martin Blackburn are proper journalists, not looking to make a name for themselves with snide hit pieces.

This shit-flinging is done from the safe confines of London desks, wankers who visit our stadium once a year and have no issue causing strife for supposed patch colleagues, whose job it is to maintain excellent relationships on a daily basis.

The public don't know the half of it, there are kids in morning meetings sending emails to editors telling them the stories they should be writing and gaining trending traction.

I still have to work in this cesspit but I'm not reliant on it to the extent I used to be, which is just as well, because there are days when I just want to banjo some of these cunts.

Part of the reason I got out when I did. So many public schoolboy twats needing a slap.

Rules brought in specifically for us to break? Don’t give the cunts anything. If they said it’s Saturday I’d argue it wasn’t.

I feel your pain having the industry you appear to love being soiled by these imbeciles.
Going back to my original post, I was meaning someone who will be over the top defending City like a pantomime villain just to rack up the hate engagement.
I realise that the media do not care for City, but they also don't care for any other team, person, or entity. They care about money and survival. We (and to a certain extent) the red tops are just a vehicle for them. It's a game and the reader is the one that gets played everytime.

I try my best ;)

Who really gives a shit about what other fans think of us ? It doesn't matter if they hate us. The club isn't there is please THEM.
I do find it funny when fans of certain clubs, especially United, Liverpool and Arsenal, try to tell us that our success is hollow because no one else cares. Which football fan gives a fuck about the success of any other club but their own?

Just about sums up the sports newspaper media today. A failed carpet salesman now writing for the Athletic. And they want you to pay for it. Totally laughable.

Fucking hell, that's a lamentable CV for someone working at a supposed top outlet.

Hardly 20-years working for the News of the World, is it?

Journalism is at an all time low, how are these cnuts making a living guessing stuff and scribing it 99% of the time?
The profession is dying on its feet. Quite sad to see, just made-up bollocks and click bait most of the time. They’re going the way of the Hackney Carriage Lamp Wick-Trimmers I’m afraid - obsolete.

AI will be its death knell.

Don't need to be paying writers when they can have something doing it for free.

Feel sorry all for those swimming against the tide. Must be depressing.

AI scares me shitless but that’s another story

Can't be scared of something you can't control.

The wheels of life turn fast, all you can do is stay in your own lane and go at your own pace, even if you feel left behind.

My best contribution to life is now bringing my kids up to appreciate those things which existed before and can continue to exist.

Thinking for yourself, not relying on your phone as another limb, reading books, enjoying music from all eras, talking to the opposite sex.

And, most important, hating United with every core of their being and don't pollute my bloodline.

AI can have the rest.
