Has anyone else gone up to some one famous with loads to ask them but turn into a nervous state or is it just me? I met one of my boy hood idol 's today and went blank,And acted like a teenage girl meeting 1D!

i did the same when i met joycey from the smiths a couple of season ago.....ended up walking to the ground with him and afterwards thinking there was so much i wanted to ask him but didnt ;(

Not met many celebs, to be honest. Had a few words with Noel G a couple of years back, and I like to think I didn't turn into a gibbering wreck. Anyway; I wouldn't class him as a hero of mine (decent bloke though), and also I'm a bit old to be star-struck now!

I met Toadfish off Neighbours in Melbourne casino in 2002. Tapped him on the shoulder and said "are you Toady?" He said "yes" and I said "good to meet you" then walked off.

Kev "Curly Watts" Kennedy is a mate a of mine, been out on the piss several times with Martin "Spider" Hancock. Had a lift from Rodney Marsh and Tommy Booth last year, had a coffee with comedian Stewart Lee-and meeting him next month, had lunch in a restaurant with David Tennant and Richard Wilson at next table

I met Lee Sharpe last year on a Sportman's doo, (football shirt themed).Asked him if he would sign my shirt.... 'Course i will mate, my pleasure', he said. I take my coat off to reveal my sky blue retro city shirt. He just gave me that look..... i felt a right tight twat. He came across as a top bloke.

I met Spike Milligan briefly in the 80's. I shook his hand, opened my mouth and then said fuck all. Stood there like a goldfish. He looked at me, copied my expression for a second, smiled and walked off.
