Reckon it would be good in the build up to the match and perhaps sporadically throughout. Too much and it gets really annoying and get in the way of the organic singing. I hate it when the band at the England matches just plays the tune of 'come on England'.

haha i wasn't been serious! thought the reference to bolton and blackburn would of give that away. and for me i'm not a big fan of drums in the stands during the match, cant be doing with the monotonous boom boom boom all the time!!

Where it happens more naturally based on what's going on on the pitch or with the away fans rather than forced 'trying to improve the atmosphere' rubbish.

we could have mickey francis;as megaphone man for the last few home games;if he sits/stands in 121/122-then we would have all stands singing;as east and north have done better;this season.

Fucking love this, some people will despise it in the ground but personally I'd be happy to have it in the ground (being used effectively), not all the time but just to add atmosphere every now and then when it goes flat!
