Its now July 20, which is past the date Roma gave for Benatia to leave (July 19)... Not sure if he is an option anymore.

Not that we're signing him but this would hardly be a problem. He plays for Morocco, who, unlike Ivory Coast, don't have much chance of getting very far in the competition. He'd be gone 2 weeks max.
 
Mehdi's performances for Roma in 2014 have been solid - match after match after match.
I'm very sorry that we have missed out on this guy.
