The clean sheet was really important. Even at 2 or more goals up you can never be too sure with this team.

They came close a few times but couldnt break through. Made it a comfortable end to the match.

Enjoyed that. Just caught the second half. All being well, I will have started today with a City win and I'll be finishing it with a City win.

2 derbies to look forward to next weekend - MCFC v MUFC and City v Melbourne Victory.

Haven't been posting much this season, those losses in a row was a real kick in the guts, but we look like we may have turned things around.

We are still very flakey and no way look as solid as last season but maybe we might get a few wins and move up the ladder, currently 7th but a few games in hand, and the next month all games in Melbourne.

This Saturday night we are away to Victory who are floundering vut being a derby form normally doesn't count.

Very interested in what City turns up.

Fingers crossed.
