Memories of....COMS

Being in the gods, and having a close to mud fart on the way in. diving into level 2 bogs and having bogroll to wipe my pot splattered arse.............we've made the bigtime went through my mind

To me it's still the City Of Manchester Stadium and it always will be.

My best memories of CoMS so far are the first derby, that was immense and I was a very young boy at the time. Sinclair taking his shirt off celebrating the third goal and then Shauny Wright's cracker to make it 4-1.

The Hamburg game would also be right up there, great atmosphere, waving the flags, and the players gave it absolutely everything. Felt very proud that night, despite going out.

The Stoke game where we won 3-0 this season will be a great memory as well. This is because it was my last ever game in the family stand, where I had been sitting every since the first ever game against Barcelona.

Also, Danny Mills' goal v Everton, Musampa's against Liverpool, Tevez's freekicks against Chelsea and Stoke, Micah's header against Reading, De Jong's goal against West Ham and Elano's free kick against Newcastle are my favouries behind Shauny's against United.
Given's penalty save against Chelsea and Ronaldo's red card in 2006 were also very enjoyable moments.

The clock in the corner of the West Stand & North Stand sponsored by "Timpsons".

Digibet Bookmakers.

COMS first, and my first ever derby.
The 2-1 against Chelsea, best home game ever.
The Lech Poznan game, with the 3rd tier filled with Polish nutters.
The Poznan.
NDJ's first goal.
Robinho's freekick vs Chelsea.
Many happy memories...

Best Players

Signing Robinho and watching him score a free kick on his debut. I thought he was gonna be the one to drag us from mid table to challenging for trophies.

Carlos Tevez - best player I have ever seen at the COMS, including opposition players.

Best Celebration

Adebayor slide will be my favourite celebration fit the sheer emotion of it (plus being sat near the away fans and having a laugh as they all get angry)

Best Match

Got to be the Hamburg match, sat in the singing section and the atmosphere was top class. Never been prouder to be a city fan. Also getting the metrolink back to Sale after the game was funny. Some german guy had been gloating at us and smirking on the metrolink. We get to the Stretford stop and he's says 'is this Salford Quays? It is now mate, and we told him to get off here if he wanted to find his hotel.
