Memories.......

Incredible to think that in a hundred years plus people will look at this as a cultural artefact of our times.

The Waldorf run a coach to weekend home matches. It's something like £1.50 single fare. A great initiative. Had a pint in there with the mighty Rascal pre-Hull League Cup.

I was flitting between the official site and the threads here. The Waldorf is great. I've only been a few times in the last decade, I don't really have a fixed abode for pubs and bars. I just go wherever an invite is made.

On the subject of memories, who'll have the greater memories:
The fan who sang their hearts out in the crowd and followed every possible moment with their eyes?
Or, the fan who took an iPad to take a photo using an iPad type device?
I'm all for fans taking snaps to capture moments, but since around the League Cup away game at Arsenal, when Aguero bagged the winner, I remember first seeing one or two iPad type devices, now they seem to be at every game - and even sometimes laptops.

I'm envious in some ways, I'd love to have more snaps at Maine Road or around the area of Moss Side, you know memories... but they are just that, my memories. I still have one vivid memory of passing through a concrete clad passageway to watch City youth or reserves somewhere. It wasn't at Maine Road, or Branthingham Road, or Hyde, or the grounds I've been to in recent years. It wasn't far from Maine Road. The pitch was pretty good. I suspect my memory has corrupted it and changed it into something it never was.

Thank strewth for BlueMoon forum and our fans, who remember so many great times, bad times and places. Our social history and the things we did before, during and after those 90 minutes are wonderful. I love looking at pictures of our fans, there are so many stories, so many tales and the emotion. Some fans of other clubs have that too, but we're a special bunch...
