I've always driven a van. When I passed my test I had two Border Collies and a German Shepherd (just one Collie now) and having a van is much easier than a car. I've had the vans plywood lined and a tailgate fitted so that when it's hot I can leave the back door up (no back door jokes please lol) and as there are no windows the dogs are always in shade.

I see this all the time with my 45 mile commute from Saddleworth to Preston. It amazes me how many bad drivers there are on the roads and the white vans are the worst!!
Mind you i can hardly talk - i'm usually the one intimidating them lol :-)
