What is the point of him sitting injured on those barely covered up benches when it is absolutely pissing it down, against the shittiest team in the league and he cant be involved in any way.I am more concerned that another player has openly questioned him why he wasnt at cardiff. The message there is if you are injured but fit to go to the boxing, then you are fit enough to go to the game and support the lads...Which he chose not to do

It is slightly different; questioning a players attitude. Injuries are unlucky, speeding 4 times in a short period isn't
I certainly wouldn't question his ability, I would never criticise his performance, but I feel justified in questioning his behaviour, as I did with the balloon Ballotelli.
We are very lucky , having a core of professionals who behave impeccably, I hope Mendy learns quickly.

I remember last season , the same posters defending Toure after his drink driving conviction for drinking " Orange juice".

Agree, fabs was brilliant last season and aside from the odd brain fart i'm sure he will be again this one,i'm not bashing mendy as a player as he has several assists already but that photo grated on me for some reasonYoung lad, enjoying life no problem with that. Not sure how this has turned to a thread where some are using it as a stick to beat Delph. The same Delph who isn't a natural left back but played there in the most successful PL side of all time. Maybe Delph needs to get more active on Insta, FB and Twitter to get a bit more respect from our "fans"

Taking it back to the original point, what has pissed people off is that on 4 seperate occassions he was asked by the police to say who was driving his car when they broke the law. They are pissed with Mendy because on 4 occassions he couldn't be arsed/deliberately refused to name that person. I take a very dim view of someone driving a car who has no insurance and there is a high probability that happened here. This isn't about Delph or boxing.
