Menorca for 10 hours

Do not waste this opportunity! I have heard there is an Irish pub somewhere in Menorca.

Went there years ago with my parents. From our hotel we could see a lovely white building perched on a hilltop. We went off road to get there, quite literally passing a few sheep skeletons on the way and one abandoned car. We reached our destination and found it was a sewage plant.

Go to a brothel would give you another 9hrs 50 minutes to do other things .The harbour area's nice didn't see any brothels though

Thanks for the info mate. Mahon probably sounds like the best shout I think. Which are the main squares with the bars etc? I will probably head there and do the harbour tour as suggested

That shows a walking route from the bus station and down through one of the 2 main roads. The square is an 'old mans' square with benches under trees to sit under. Follow the road down and you get to the Cathedral, couple of bars round there. Head left and right to see some quality old school architecture and views from above the port. Then downhil to the Port area, a load of bars on the road at the port and here is where the Catamarans set off from.

Last bit, turn back on yourself round the headland. more bars/restaurants on way and finally the last stop is the cove that apparently is 'the' place to go for locals (I didn't make it myself, but looked packed with bars and restaurants).

If beaches are your thing, there's some stunning ones around the island. Proper unspoilt ones surrounded by pine forests and they've been used a fair few times in adverts etc.

Serious..hire a car, take your phone / sat nav and get lost off the beaten track, best way of seeing a place.
