Would anyone be interested in setting up a mens mental health sub forum or creating a thread in off topic. Somewhere for men to talk openly without prejudice about their feelings, thoughts, mental health in general? Apologies if this already exists.
I work in mental health, have ADHD myself and at 42 I'm aware many men my age, older and younger don't always have the opportunity too discuss mental health, or they feel like there's a stigma attached to it.
I've also been doing some research for work and found there appears a large gap in services available for men. Just a quick example, many of the community based services are at community centres, churches and so on and seem more suitable for people who want to play board games and do arts and crafts - something which appears for obvious reasons to exclude many males. Mainly because as nice as that is it's fucking boring as fuck.
I would be more than willing to help if any moderators required it.
