Real ITK's are as rare as rocking horse shit since ADUG took over. These people don't discuss their business with outsiders, but inevitably there are some people who become aware of their external enquiries sooner than others. Agents and officials from other clubs may be less discrete and some people on here may actually know those people or, much more likely, know people who know people who do.
The rest is just extrapolation /invention on the part of posters who want to seem clever, or perhaps ( as in the case of Ajay, I think) direct information from someone who really does know someone, but doesn't really know anything concrete. That makes for good entertainment. I agree with the OP though that simply making stuff up is taking the piss out of fellow blues and those kind of WUM's should be ashamed.

Hughes is staying - fact! Confirmed by several sources who I will not be naming for obvious reasons.
Also NAILED ON, we will be signing some QUALITY players this summer! Will pass on names when its safe to do so, so as not to risk scuppering the deals (no PMs please).
Believe me folks, this is going to be one exiting transfer window!!!!! :o)
