The Lech fans I've been speaking to seem really up for a pre-season game. It'd be a top day out.

we do have our Polish connections, as follows -

we beat Gornik Zabre in the Cup Winners Cup Final of 1970

we signed the great Kaziu Deyna in 1979 ish

now we do the Poznan

Krzysiek is a top guy and his English is very good, who do Poznan have in the next round of Europa.....

Also my Mams side of the family are Polish. My Grandad had seven brothers and two sisters who all moved to Cheetham Hill then mater Moss Side and they all became City fans and the generations that followed (including me!), apart from maybe the odd one or two here and there, are all City fans.

Manchester's main Polish church and social club was less than 200 yards from the souvenir shop at Maine Road. Went a few times with my neighbours, second generation Polish Mancs, and everyone in there was a blue.
There was a thread before the first Poznan game about Polish exiles serving with. the RAF in WWII and there was quite a bit in there about Polish/Manc/City connections.

The Polish club in moss side was great for a pint before the game (for those that can remember) full of Polish blues

If you mean as a nick name it is kolejorz knon as the "railway men"

If you mean forums this is one of the more popular ones (that i know of anyway)

Poznan fans are the best in the world. No question.

Would love to see you at Eastlands again. Maybe our clubs could arrange a friendly.
