i'm not so sure why people think he can't handle big matches considering he scored the decider in last seasons Champions League quarter final, a couple in the semi final almost single handedly tore Barca a new one in the opening 15 minutes of Champions League final. Not to mention scoring in the final in the previous season. Messi performs well in the big games because Barca are the best team on the planet and as such they manage to control practically every game. I also have reservations on Messi's ability to perform to his bets against the more physical English sides. For example i think before the Champions League final, he hadn't scored in 10 previous meetings with English sides.

Messi is a great player, but i just think the tranny has a better all around game.
