Interesting one this.

The forthcoming World Cup could easily elevate him into that top bracket, but it will need Argentina to play decently as well, which means Maradona will have to manage the team better than he has thus far!

On ability alone, I believe that Messi has what it takes, but it will need him to do it on the biggest stage for others to accept it...IMHO.
