There is no doubt in my mind that Messi has been the best player on the planet for the last 7 or 8 years.I've dreamed of him coming to City but the harsh facts are that he's now nearly 30 and his best years are behind him. To blow £120mil on him would be a terrible investment now.

Time to be pragmatic rather than romantic and spend that money buying the best keeper we can find along with two top quality full-backs.
