As has already been said he is probably just starting his new contract negotiations, but if he was available I think the club would go balls deep on this one.
His commercial value not just to City but to the whole CFG would be immense. Plus the China link and our status out there.
We have new deals to be done, kit, shirt sponsors even stadium and having Messi here would put extra noughts on any deal we do.
Possibly just hot air though, international break etc, wonder how many pages this will get to before we know.

He seemed level headed for so long but he's finally believing the hype and has turned in to a twat.Marde arsed twat, also as noted already the fee would be eye watering, we would have a bit of his prime though, but then the decline all to soon after (possibly). If someone said he will adapt and have a long shelf life though i would find it hard to argue against that. We have also gone pretty far down river with this squad and setup already, he would change everything and i am curious to how the current dynamic will do in general tbh, that may sound daft to sum i admit.

Yeah i was genuinely a bit disappointed with him seeing his arse after the loss, it was achingly childish and petulant. I always thought he had a bit more about him than that and probably did, as you say it has seemingly seeped into his character reasonably recently, shame really. I have seen him kick out a bit and whatnot before but storming around with a bodyguard, ahh come on Messi you are better than that right?
