I never asserted he told me anything, that was a leap you made. I am merely reiterating what the player has said publicly on several occasions - plus, it's in keeping with his character as he is loyal & feels indebted to the club

"Indebted to the club" for what?
As I said,I ain't saying he'll move,but shit happens and people change their minds,for whatever reasons.
You can't say what a person,with God knows how many millions will decide to do.

You know & I know what you were implying

It'll be 17 years he's been at the club at the end of this season, logic alone would tell you he isn't going anywhere

Indebted because they gave him the chance when even his local clubs in Argentina (Boca, River & Newells) would not. Had Charly Rexach et al not gone the extra mile at the outset to ensure he was made a part of the club and protected throughout the years (not to mention had teams built around him) then the world wouldn't have benefitted from his gift to the degree we all have marveled at

Money isn't the issue, he's been offered more on more than one occasion. Even Neymar who is clearly interested in the millions, turned down more to be where he is. Messi is unique in many aspects but he's through & through Blaugrana - he'll remain at the club until he is marginalized by the club or he is ready to retire to Newells...or if the board (Like Faus did) go mental

Mate,you post "Messi will not" "Messi won't" "Messi will".....point being,unless you are close to him,you have no fucking idea what he will or won't do.
Yes,logic would suggest he will stay at Barca,but logic ain't a guarantee.
Logic to me,would be to prove myself in the toughest league in the world.

If we could rewind 15 or so years,I've no doubt you'd be saying "not a chance Figo will sign for Madrid".....shit happens and minds change.

It gets on my tits when City are linked with a player,then one of the clubs fans pops up on here spouting about what the player will and won't do.
It's like they are the players agent or a family member.
