The Metrolink is wank and an embarassment to our City, I for one won't be using it when it eventually starts running to the Stadium.
Id be a lot more embarassed if we didnt have the metrolink and just the awful bus service instead.
Never use the bus whenever I'm over for a game. At least not after the game. Walk back into town. Just as quick and, judging by the amount of people doing the same thing, I'm not the only one who thinks that. 20-25 minutes back to Piccadilly station.

As do i, then i have to get the 86 back to chorlton. Probably the worst bus in existence, however i can now get the met to town and soon city which will be brilliant.

Yeah if there isn't a power failure or another Tram broken down on the line somewhere, then brilliant

-- Sat Jul 30, 2011 10:20 pm --

As luck would have itI live along side the busiest bus route in europe (studentville) so theres no problem getting a Bus to Town then a walk to the stadium, job done

I take it from that comment you don't use the tram a lot?

I work with people who travel into work (Salford Quays) from Eccles and Piccadilly for times a week and they would all beg to differ with you there Chorlton

I use it every week day.. Maybe the the altrincham/chorlton line is more reliable than others

Seems so, not sure if Media City and all the building work has affected the Eccles line but it's a joke from this side.

Anything would be an improvement on the cak service at the moment. The slightest weather change and it's hello to your hour-long wait.

Tell me the last time you waited an hour for a tram
