Yes the only day they actually run direct to the Etihad too. Hopefully the bus strike issue will be resolved by then otherwise it's a bit of a perfect storm brewing.
It's a 4:30pm kick off and my only real option is the Chester train. If the game finishes at 18:30 I will only have 39 minutes to catch the Metro to Piccadilly and dash to Platform 14 at the arse end of the station for the 19:07 train.

The train after that goes at 21:04 bloody ridiculous.

I hope I will be forgiven if I leave on the 80th minute.

Yes Sunday public transport is crap even if it is running. Those trains are often cancelled too at short notice.

I have to leave a bit earlier if it's a night match or a Sunday match just because of that, the trains don't need to be on strike to leave you standing at the station for 90 or so minutes.
