Hughes said that he could send several of City's younger players out on loan in an attempt for them to gain first-team experience.

'We'll look at that because I think it's important that certain players need to be tested and we will need to see if they can deal with senior football on a regular basis,' he added.

'So we will be looking to possibly get some of the younger players out to see how they cope.'

'You have to take them on an individual basis because some players would suit a different type of club and it's about matching the player's ability and their style to the correct club, not just sending them out hoping that they are going to do well. There has to be a little bit of thought behind it.' mark hughes

at least mh must be looking at every part of the squad which to me seems encouraging and also he is looking to develop some of our younger players

i know its been going on for years but there was a great fear that the young ones would be bombed out due to the amount of money we have

i mean lets get behind the other young ones and what mh is obviously trying to do like i said ched as had a great chance off mh and if he bombed him out then no one could complain
onwards and upwards

I agree with Hughes, hes going to try and bring in premier league experience because our squad is so young.

i know my mate would love to see Ched back at Norwich to save them from relegation ha ha. Hes a legend down there now.

Sending younger players out on loan is an amazing idea.

In next weeks installment:

In a bid to improve performances Hughes introduces a football into training sessions
