MH370 Mystery

whole plane in tact won't submerge, as the one in hudson river didn't either

Completely different scenarios and conditions. An Aircraft will sink (in time) as did the A322. The real reason it is ruled out is that you would not be able to land in the sea successfully to survive. The landing on the Hudson river was a fluke and had all environment elements going for them that day. The winds and waves would just snap a 777 into pieces. (and sink very quickly)

Latest theory based on the damage to the wreckage washed up in Reunion is that it was a controlled landing in the sea which would explain why more wreckage hasn't been found. It would also mean the possible search area could be much larger as the current area is based on the assumption that it flew on autopilot until it ran out of fuel. If it was being piloted it could be well outside that area.

It's quite possible in that case that the passengers on the flight spent many hours either oblivious to their fate or simply unable to get through the cockpit door. The area that this plane ended up in makes it obvious that there was some 3rd party involvement. Planes don't just decide to knock out it's pilots, turn off the transponder and then crash 6/7 hours away in the most remote place on Earth.

I personally don't think it will ever be found on purpose, they are looking for an object 200ft long which is several miles underwater in a space that could cover 20% of the globe.

Pilot suicide if I had to bet. Like the **** that flew into the alps.
