So pleased- this lad got it all early pro at City and england soon after and then went totally off the range. Mancini/Kiddo and dare I say Platt has sorted him out. Well done young man you have worked so hard to improve.

Good stuff. Just hope he continues to progress and doesn't let this lucrative contract make his form slip like it did last time he signed a contract.

Excellent news, certainly after Joe Hart signing on for another 4 years... now need only Kompany and De Jong to sign... although after De Jong has teamed up with Joorabchian, I get the feeling he may be after a move away and that's perhaps why there was some interest in signing De Rossi...

I know I might be a lone voice on here and I am chuffed that he's signed.
But I feel that he's the weak link in our defence. He's an outstanding athlete who can cover ground and make tackles but on the ball is our weak point. His distribution is poor and his pace of movement with the ball slows the team down went we are trying to get the ball upfield.
If you look at great full backs they have more time on the ball then any other members in the side. We should have a great pair of full backs that can move the team upto the real elite.
Watch Micah tomorrow and you will see what I'm talking about. He'll work the lines well but will slow things down when on the ball. He's great City youth player and could be an excellent squad player but as a first team starter, I think we could do better?

2 games, 2 assists (which would have been three but for Petrov falling over like a sack of spuds at Bolton) goes to prove you're well off the mark....

Since Mancini has been at the club Micah has knuckled down and has worked hard. I am delighted to see the club reward him with a new contract. He is showing some brilliant form at the moment and is the best English right back in the league has worked hard on his end product as well. This year we will see Micah being a vital member of our squad.

I hope so but see my post above I see a few weaknesses, but maybe I'm over critcical?
