Micah: Goal-shy City need Tevez

Micah's interview on the OS yesterday had a very similar theme. Firstly to his credit Micah was extremely disappointed and sounded quite bewildered at how poorly we played. The lad clearly cares.

Secondly he pretty much said the strikers arent doing it at the moment. He covered himself with a sort of 'I'm not blaming anyone but........' kind of follow up.

The glaring truth is that Carlos Tevez is a world class player. He scores a variety of goals. He grafts his bollocks off. He inspires the team and frightens fuck out of any opposition.

I am 99% sure if he'd been in and around the team (and on form) this season we wouldnt be discussing needless points dropped at several average teams. He's a game winner. He's our Rooney.

Perhaps the 3 lads who've played this season are worried about losing 'their' place to him. Tough shit. If he had've been here and BM hadn't have happened Dzeko would've been benched for most games. Mario woud've been third choice.

His presence would inspire the other lads to be as good as him. They'd learn from him. I think him and Sergio would run riot.

He's class. Utd will be shitting their pants at a fresh, motivated Carlos coming into the race at this point. He has points to prove and I for one have no doubt he will in an emphatic way.

This guy can be the difference. Perhaps it's fated.

We're ONE point behind. That is fuck all, esp with them coming to ours with a nicey ironed Tevez ready to rip some new gaping arseholes.

Get your chins up. Yes we're behind but so what theres 30 fuckin points left.

Lets kill em.

We needed the **** at Liverpool, at Chelsea, at West Brom, at Sunderland, at Everton and at Swansea. Where was the fucker?

He doesn't deserve to play for us again. Too little too late, whatever it is he brings back to us (which I don't think will be anything).

Micah Richards says Manchester City need to rediscover their scoring touch if they are to win the title - and hopes Carlos Tevez returns soon

The Argentinian spent several months away from the club but is now back in training having patched up his relationship with Mancini, and the manager has said he is around 10 days away from being available for selection.

And Richards admits he would "love" to see Tevez leading City's attack again.

"I have always been a big fan of Tevez, I love him," he said.

"There were games last season where he carried us on his own and in these sort of games he would get a 1-0 win for us. It's up to the manager ultimately but I would love to see him back."

You know fine well why people are addressing you

Talk about a misleading thread title. He said he would like to have him back not that "Goal-shy City" need Tevez.

His return could be just what we need...he is a game changer and even if not fuly fit which hye wint be for at least a few games, to be able to bring him off the bench for the last 30 mins or so could really make a difference .....unfortunately some of our fans are going to have to deal with this and Im not sure a small section can!

Just in time for Chelsea hopefully because he loves to play against them
