What are 'Matching rights'?
I'm guessing if a club offers x amount for him, we can match that and buy him. What are 'Matching rights'?
Damn, of course it is. It also means that we get informed of any bids for him before anything is signed. They've got this transfer lark nailed down well and good.I'm guessing if a club offers x amount for him, we can match that and buy him.
That’s exactly what a parent said to me whose lad moved from United to City last season. In his opinion City utilise the loan system so much better that he felt his son was better off there with a more realistic career path. Obviously the media don’t look beyond getting in the first team at City and United for examples. Charlie McNeil is a good case in point. Plus look at how much City have generated in revenue from academy players against our neighbours.Players/parents thinking about coming to City must look at the shear numbers of kids that join the academy that although dont make it at city still get real decent moves elsewhere and it be very attractive
