Some of the choices are laughable.
Just watched the Live feed, saying he chose Jones over Richards as he was versatile and could play Centre Back or Right Back.
He was quite clearly clueless at Liverpool, but he has at least backed most of his big spending signings...

What a shit reason....like Richards has never played CB. Only reason Jones plays all the positions is because he's not nailed one down yet.

Those that have been watching... has he explained his Downing decision? There isn't even a justification for taking Stewart Downing to the Euros over myself or anyone else on this forum. What is better? 36 games with 0 goals and 0 assists, or 0 games with 0 goals and 0 assists? I prefer my Premier League stats to Stewart Downing's.
