Looking at the various threads on the QPR game, there are a number of comments criticising his performance. Perhaps the presence of Capello in the stands affects his game?

Can you really go off one performance though? Is so then none of the rag players should be picked after the beating they got off us!

Anyway i'm glad micah is not going simply because he will be fresh for newcastle game.

I seriously hope David Silva dosnt play either!

Although the QPR (or Coo PR as Booby says) game, wasnt the first time this season that Micah has been criticised on here. He's vastly improved over the last year but still hasn't totally eliminated the positional weaknesses. But compared to the competion he should certainly be in the squad.

I dont particularly blame Capello for picking the latest flavours of the month like Walker. Get them in early and find out if they're the real deal or just the latest false dawn and then move on to the next bunch of saviours. But I'm struggling to see how Glen Johnson gets in the squad.

I'm glad
I hope as few of our players as possible play this weekend.
They all need a rest.

gutted for the lad, must be a right kick in the nuts that capello think johnson is more worthy of a place in the squad.
it stinks!

Sorry chaps but he ain't that good..........just watch yesterdays match.....and there are a couple of classic Micah examples.....straight after Joes double save, who comes strolling back...yep, the lazy, I've just been up front, can't be arsed Micah Richards.

And why on earth does he think he should help out Savic and leave the RB slot to AJ or James Milner like he did against Wolves and QPR.....there said it......Micah Richards is he all that ????????

He had a poor game against QPR, his first of the season. You're going to mark him as "Not all that" over one game and ignore the rest of the season. Just fuck right off.

I'm not marking over one game, he's always been a lazy git......why doesn't he bust a gut to get back ???? and to watch him hop skipping and a jumping back to position when he's faking an injury is frankly pathetic.

How many times does the guy get stretchered off only to be fit 3 days later.......be a man FFS.

Are you on fucking crack or just Capello in disguise, I really can't believe what I am reading fucking amazing!!!!!

He's improved, be something proper amiss if he never but like the poster said...he ain't that good. He's still complaing with a little MTV drama whilst the opposition have taken thier throw and moved on, if you think thats international class....it ain't. V Bolton he was happy once again to run along with Petrov paying no heed to him cocking his leg to centre the ball (bish-bosh goal) .....what the fucks all that about, don't answer....Mancini knew what it was about....he did'nt play the next game.

Feel sorry for Micah as he deserves a call up based on his performances so far this season, especially when you see Glen Johnson in the squad!

However, it will be a good rest for him, only wish the other England guys, Barry, Lescott, Milner and Johnson were getting a rest, and also Silva and Balotelli.

These friendly games, especially England playing two in 4 days are pointless.

I will support England but club comes first as far as I'm concerned.

this just says it all about this England manager,

fucking clueless !!!

The problem is a much the FA as it is the manager. We need a complete overhaul of the way the team is run, all the way down to the school boys team. We need someone like Louis Van Gaal (who is kicking his heels at the moment), who was a major force in the Barca overhaul and also rejuenated Ajax, to the point that they beat Juve in the champions league final with a team with 10 home grown players. The next manager shouldn't be someone who has simply gone out bought player after player, it needs to be someone who has a history of developing from within. Also if anyone is happy with Pearce as under 21's manager, I liked to know why?
Give the right man the job and give him a 12 year contract, so that when *ocks like Beckham and Terry start trying to dictate, or sabotage the team he can get rid. If you look at the number of games the manager is judged on then, 12 years is like a 3 year deal at a club.
