Micah Richards 'I'm No Quitter'

Why do some people want 'same old City' forever. Listen if you are not good enough you do not play, end of, we want and need the very best so we can win trophies.

Micah can stay and fight for his place, that means work harder, work smarter, learn more and then more again; application and art. Its the same for Tevez, Barry, Adebayor and Ireland and all.

Less talk, more performance on the pitch. This player is immensely talented, but has blown a golden chance to play at this years World Cup. Micah needs to buckle down and focus solely on his football 24 hours every day. I wish him well.

Some people might want the same old City forever but I'm not one of them. I just don't think getting rid of or on a young kids back who's clearly going through bad stage in his development is a wise thing to do. If he's the same in 2 or 3 years time then yea, fair enough, but 21 is fuck all and he should be given plenty time yet

Citeh?"! thats how the rags and other teams who h8 us spell it when taking the piss.

Well sorry to piss on the meaning of CITEH, but thats how us simple Sintellisers talk, as in Jimmeh,Monkeh,CITEH, and anything else that should end in a letter 'Y', is that ok?
Also, when i'm at Wiggin on Sunday and i shout (as i have done for 26years) come on Citehhh does this mean i'm taking the piss? please enlighten me.

Couldn't give a fuck what he's like off the pitch, he often shows poor attitude ON the pitch, that coupled with his lack of quality make me think he won't make it at the top.

It's all about on the pitch, he does worse both on & off then Pablo.

The bad stage in his development is lasting too long I'm afraid, IMO he's hardly developed at all since his first senior season. 2 or 3 years? We will not carry him past this season if he remains at his current level of performance.

i always say this, he is still learning. i wonder how many people on here will change there minds now? fickle fookers!

Some top defenders of the future won't be playing at this level at his age, never mind playing at this level for 4 years. It sounds like he is getting a lot of 1 to 1 from training reports, personally I think he has improved since last year and will probably keep improving.

Always liked Micah and playing with the likes of Toure and Lescott he will only get better. He is only 21, most players are just getting into Prem Teams at that age, he's been in ours for 4 years!

Said 4 years ago that the likes of Micah, Johnson, and the Emerald Prince were the future of MCFC. I think the oil dollars haven't changed my opinion. There isn't a prem team going, that wouldn't bite yer hand off if they were offered Micah. He wants to stay, there's no need to offload. More bullet headers, Micah!

He's still only young and due to his Englishness, we must keep hold of him for the future rule change.

He's not been great for a while now but he is judged harshly by all on here even when he's turned in a good performance.

I believe his heart is in the right place and with some hard work he can prove his worth to us over the course of the season.

For me richards is our best right at the moment, he does be a bit of work getting back quicker, however his abilty in the air is superb and has the potenial to be the best right back in the world.

Asked to name his toughest opponent in three years in England, Tevez was unequivocal about his selection:

“There are many superb defenders, but Micah Richards at Manchester City has given me the hardest match in England.

“He is big, fast, strong and very hard to beat.”
