Micah Richards - Please, please, please...

Fuck Off

The way you faked 2 injuries today isn't just a disgrace to the fans or the club, but a fucking disgrace to the memory of Big Mal. Twice you did it. Fucking twice, once was a groin and the other was a hamstring. Why? Cos your a lazy twat that didn't want to track back.

I've supported Micah in the past over and over but after today he can get fucked. Any City fan would give everything and anything to play in that shirt, most would die for it yet this gutless prick thinks he can put in the kind of effort that frustrates me. A lack of it.

Sorry Micah, but if you don't want to play then fuck off somewhere else. We don't need you as much as your ego seems to think we do.

Rant Over

You little WUM you ;)

I didn't say anywhere in my original post that he didn't play well, just that i'm fed up with him faking injuries so he doesn't have to put the effort in to getting back into his position.

Its almost fraudulant.

-- Mon Oct 25, 2010 10:44 am --

Ricster I used to think he feigned injury but RIchards is known now to have a condition with his knees that causes him audden pain that temporarily causes him problems. He is not faking it, he's just suffers with that physioligy. He was a good performer today.

If that is true then i apologise, but how can someone be in so much discomfort one second when going back to defend, then be sprinting up the line about 30seconds later on the attack?

Or is this a case of attack is more important than defending?

I have been critical of Richards on many occasions (in terms of his brain dead lapses in concentration when defending), however he has peformed more consistently this season and the Vieira mentoring does appear to be having some sort of effect. Whilst he did perform well yesterday, I do 'sort of' understand what the OP is saying here. I disagree when you refer to faking injury. I just put it down to the fact that the guy clearly has a low pain threshold compared to others. He goes down easily two or three times per game, likes to receive treatment at least once, and does like to point out (limping) he's received a knock etc, whereas some other players with a higher pain threshold just fucking get on with it. But that has no bearing on his performance yesterday, because he played very well

I agree with the majority of posters that Richards had a very good game against Arsenal, however I can also see where Ricster is coming from.

Richards main problem is is that he seems to get a rush of blood to the head everytime he gets in front of goal and that was frustrating for me.

And today on about 80 minutes a ball was played out of defence and quite simply he tripped over his feet and looked an arse. When he got up he was limping and faking it to cover for his slip up. Trouble was we'd given the ball away on the edge of our box and he should have been chasing instead of looking for the symathy vote (which he got from many around me - block 209).

20 seconds later he was back running. He does need to understand the impact his faking it has on the rest of the side.

All that said he did give his all yesterday.

Thank you. Glad someone else saw this.

Everyone who is slagging me, tell me where i said Micah had a bad game? I'm having a go cos he faked 2 injuries so he didn't have to do his job in the last 5 - 10 minutes.

Have to agree with the OP.

Micah had a half decent game by his recent standards.

But there were indeed two occasions where he attempted to bluff it.

He has done this repeatedly in games throughout the last 18 months.

Lost count how many times he goes down spectacularly in challenges, certainly ones where it would appear a bomb has gone off.

Yet he gets a few minutes and is back on his feet.

It is nothing new. When Maurice Green used to think he was the best sprinter in the world, he repeatedly feigned hamstring injuries when he knew there was no way back in the race for him in a 200m against the legend Michael Johnson.
