We’ve been crying out for a City bias pundit for years. I think Micah, Souness and Keane are a good combo. Always liked Souness, Keane calls anything he doesn’t like out and Micah is full of laughs. I don’t think he gives great analysis, but not a lot of pundits do. Fuck me, Paul Merson has still got a job on Sky and he’s the biggest idiot going.

I have never watched a single game of live football and thought "What an interesting point, I never knew that, how has he noticed that tactical change".

So, with that in mind I would rather someone like Micah who has a smile on his face and having a laugh then the rest of the fucking red bastards who are still living in the 70s/80s/90s and sit there with a face like a slapped arse.

It really is that simple.

I dont turn the tv on till the players have walked out onto the pitch, if i want to watch and listen to some interesting punditry then I will listen to some podcasts after the game or follow the lads on Twitter who know the difference between a 442 and a 433 and read their intepretation of what happened.

Micah might not be a great analyst but certainly not the one to make daft predictions and look stupid afterwards. I like listening to De jong too. Good to have city representation, i think Mica's analytical skills will polish in years to come, still very young in this role

Who needs 'insight' when watching a match? he gets 5 minutes at half time then 5 minutes after the game in which he's not gonna get the blackboard out and start drawing fucking arrows everywhere.
He usually does 'insight' on the beeb the day after a game.
And, what exactly are you struggling with when it comes to why we won yesterday? You don't have to be a football genius to know this and it shouldn't need 'pointing out' either.
