Seen it mentioned that he didn’t talk from a players perspective but he did exactly that when talking about how he had to mark Traoré in training & the challenges he faced doing just that.

Exactly, even on the BLM matter topic, he actually gave a completely original angle on it and the BM critics disingenuously tried to say he didn't give his own views or experiences(that's exactly what he did). I could be wrong but it's almost like they just don't like how he speaks, so they don't really listen to him or try and understand what he's saying. So that's just laziness on their part in my view.

No but he's new and he will get better.

Is it fair to call him shit, illiterate or suggest he adds nothing to a punditry panel, as in "case closed" when he's barely started his career?

I think it's fair to say he isn't the most eloquent pundit, yet. But he makes for brilliant TV. He's a very decent human being, clearly hasn't got a big ego about him. His laugh is infectious and can bring a smile to my face even when City have played terribly.

I'd rather listen to him than:

Carragher
Hargreaves
Ian Wright
Shearer
Danny Murphy
Rio Ferdinand
Jamie Redknapp
and a whole host of others that I can't even think of at this point.

Even though I hate to admit it, the only pundit that I think is clearly ahead of the others is Gary Neville. The way he articulates his analysis is detailed, yet simplifies what's happening for the viewer. He doesn't hide his biases but builds them into his honest assessment.

You can hear that he is playing Fairground by Simply Red and is tapping his fingers to the beat of the song on the steering wheel. The car is at the end of the queue far enough out to encroach your path to said ASDA providing you the perfect opportunity to slow down / stop.

I think Micah is one of those rare pundits who is pro-football. I don't mind criticism from our ex-pros when it's clear that it's due. But Danny Mills can fuck off!

Not sure what we are going to do about Rodri. Javi Garcia wasn't much of a problem as we moved him on easily but Rodri? The best option might be to convert him to a CB and buy a proper box to box powerhouse midfielder.

He was absolutely spot on.

Rodri is nowhere near good enough and the signs were there early on. We haven't found a fitting replacement for Fernadinho or Kompany, and that's our biggest problem at present.
