Micah Richards

All the players need to spend their summer with Superman and his martial arts trainer. At the very least they'll come back match fit and focused, at best they'll also be able to kick ass if there's a mass brawl.

people dont realise how much he does for the team. he plays a big part in us going forward down the right. worked his bollocks off tonight, stop gettin on his back and support your team.

The other side of the coin is that his attacking role left us exposed to attack after attack from Hamburg, which in turn placed greater pressure upon on a yellow carded Dunne to attempt to cover the missing Micah. And in Dunne's absence that covering duty fell to either Nedum or Kompany. Richards sadly, just isnt pulling his weight for the team. He needs to find the necessary balance between his attacking and defensive duties without placing an onerous burden on his defensive team mates.

That corner he won us in the last minute showed me what he's all about, it showed real commitment, passion and dedication to the team. He's had a bad season but you don't go shit overnight, he'll be back bigger and better than ever soon and he should be kept imo.

That solitary corner is what we all wish he was about all the time. Unfortunately he hasnt proved as effective for the full 90 odd minutes for far too many games. Again, a good summer, and perhaps he will come back to his hungry best.

No, it showed what he can do when he applies himself, which he isn't doing for anywhere near 90 mins.

So surely we can agree, there's something there worth keeping, if he has a summer like Stevie, comes back better than ever and plays like he did before this season. I for one would hate to lose out on someone like Micah who like you said BM115 when he 'applies himself' can become one of the greatest England prospects around imo.

Just to add, no offence meant invisable man, but a professional player can surely expect a honest appraisal from his fans? For Micah doing well, is in our best interests. We're not doing him down by commenting upon what we see every week. Good luck to the lad, goes without saying.

I bought this up yesterday but why the hell hasn't Hughes done something about this. Its glaringly obvious he's being far too erratic and is causing us alot of problems defensively. Micah is like a bull in a china shop with absolutely no composure whats so ever going forward so whats the point of allowing him to do it in the first place.? Could you see baconface, wenger or Hiddink allowing this to happen ? ...no... neither can I. Its this kind of thing that spells out what possibly is the real truth.... that Hughes is probably suited to sides like Blackburn but if we want this club to go on and challenge the top 4 playing quality football we'll need a top coach that knows what it takes. ......FFS 2 of his coaching assistants are goalkeepers!!! Can you believe that!!! Where's that going to take us ? I tell you where..... mid table.

Wrong. He jogs forward and does fuck all, before jogging back and leaving huge gaps.

Then when he gets a chance from 5 yards out he skies it.

And why hasn't Agent Hughes told him to pack this in?

If that is jogging, I'd like to see the fucker sprint!.

He needs some guidance on how to play the role and he needs to trim a few pounds. He's only a kid still (20). He'll gain more composure as he ages. Ireland and SWP did. Lets learn from the past and not write off players of 20-21 years of age.... especially players like Micah Richards, who was absolutely dynamite last season and worth in the region of 20-30 mill.

Micah has it in his locker to be a colossal defender. With good management he will be. Personally, I think he'll suit the role of centre back better in a few years.
