With Pellegrini tactics focusing on hard working, attacking full backs helping out the midfield and attack I really can't see Micah going anywhere.

He was receiving the same hype Baines was getting last season with his goal and assist tally.

He will be getting the same number of games as Zaba at least next season, injury providing.

He is going nowhere.

Micah could be the English Zabba over time.

He can play virtually anywhere and would be folly to sell him. Top utility player.

But that's the thing, his injury record. If the past suggest how the future will look, maybe the exec's might decide to sell him if a goo offer comes in.
He' a big heavy lad, but his body is kinda fragile.

I of course hopes he stays fro life here, and he in some miraculous way become less injury prone.

Christ, I hope not. I think we missed Micah this season and really hope he's a key part of our future plans.

I don't think he will be sold just yet however his injury record is his biggest concern. He is at an age where he has to be playing on a regular basis.

Most of his injuries have been what I would deem to be "impact injuries", which can happen to any player at any time. If he had had a constant history of hamstring injuries/back issues etc, I could understand. But impact injuries are more down to luck and bad timing, rather than an inherent body issue. The one concern I have with Micah, is the fact that he approaches challenges and matches at 100% pace all the time, meaning he is more prone to these types of impact injuries. I think he needs to get a little smarter about when he goes in and when to stay back, which will give him more longjevity imo.

Micah could be first choice under Pellegrini, he likes wingbacks who can get forward.

There's about 6 Liverpool fans in work who seem to think 100% they're buying Micah in the summer and have done for some months now.

I read somewhere recently that glen Johnson wants to ply his trade in Spain(Madrid most likely) so take of that what you will but I'd be surprised if we let micah now. Need to see how he gets on this season
