Call me old fashioned, but given the current happenings in his personal life and the fact he is a Govt minister, I would be concerned that all was not well with Mr Gove.

It's not a made up story if you believe the co-manager Adam Taylor, although reading his quote it seems likely Gove was joking.
“He said ‘I love to dance’ and I said ‘it’s £5 to come up’ and he said ‘even for the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster?'”

According to Craig Revel Horwood from Strictly Come Dancing, Gove's dancing was not great and he would have scored it 3/10!
