He played yesterday but that picture on the OS does him no favours. I can't see Pearson being very patient with him, he'll be off back up north i'd expect.

No sympathy for him at all....nobody wants to see somebody get injured, but its not his injury keeping out the team its his lack of fitness. Most players when suffering bad injuries watch their diets and make sure they do other exercises. Not the case with him and he obviously isnt working hard enough on the training ground, in fact he's getting bigger. Will end up playing league 2 or lower IMO

From what I've seen of him for us he looks like a very average player these days with little drive to change it.
Will probably fall through the leagues and after a few years will end up having to retire from the game through lack of desire and will end up needing a real job to live.
It might be that he has just not turned out to be very good after all the hype; He wouldn't be the first.

Judging by those comments, he'll never play for City again. I can see him ending up a Championship journeyman.

To be fair, there's been so many threads and discussions about Johnson that the spelling and grammar points raised in this thread were simply an amusing diversion for some people IMO.

It's a pity about Michael as he had a lot of potential.

Not sure he will ever need a real job after football after the 5 year deal signed with us. Circa £30-50k per week depending on which report you read.

A lot if young players will go the same way I fear, as when the going gets tough they can afford to walk away.

Makes a mockery of the fight Paul Lake went through to save his career (although with Paul I am sure money was a secondary thought after just simply wanting to play).

It's a shame what seems to have happened to him. He seems from those comments to have a lack of desire. Yet another one from the Academy who wasn't mentally tough enough.
