Christ get off the lad's back, he went to the US to carry on working on his fitness programme - he was interviewed on one of the OS vids - and presumably Mancini and the coaching staff took him so that he still felt part of the squad rather than slogging it out on his own at Carrington. He'll have returned with the other youngsters. So what if he's having a pint on a Saturday night, I assume he didn't look legless or you would surely have mentioned it!!

ffs the guys just got back from a tour of the US. Give him a break - when we get back from weeks away we all go for something we miss - favourite takeaway or a couple of pints down the local. Its normal.
