If she was videoing the performance then security should have been notified and she should have been asked to stop or possibly ejected. But surely security are briefed to deal with this? Did he come back on or was that it, gig over?

I work front of house in local theatre and it is part of our job to tell anyone filming to stop and if they do it again they will be asked to leave. Surely if he was a genuine quick witted comic then he could have reduced her to tears with put downs.
