Michael O'Leary: City fan?

Is he the guy who wants to bring back standing sections...on his planes.

HAHA

O'Leary is the MASTER when it comes to free publicity.

Every six months or so he will come out with these type of one liners just to get Ryan air back in limelight. There is no substance in these claims just huge amounts of FREE publicity.

charging for over weight people, Charging to use the toilets, standing sections on planes, He's come up with them all.

Saw him on BBC Breakfast time talking about BA. "They spend 6 and a half million on crew meals, and they're talking about reducing it to one and a half million. Apparently the staff are up in arms. I'd make them buy their own bloody meals."

Its NOT his airline....He is an employee...he's Chief executive.....he owns about 4% shares.....and pulls a SALARY (a substantial one tho)

He already makes his workers pay for their own training and work clothes apparently, what a knob.

Yeah that's wrong. But my boss never buys me a meal.

Hang on..are they all conscripts or do they have freedom of choice of who to work for ?

whats the difference between paying for a plumbing course and paying for flight attendance training course ?

Exactly, and once theyre qualified they have even more freedom of choice. He is a love/hate character though, personally I think the blokes great, he expertly tore to pieces a panorama reporter recently for their "hidden" agenda and made him look a prize chump. Like it or not, he has helped revolutionize air travel, how many people had cheapo Dublin weekend breaks when they had to fly Aer Lingus/BA etc, especially those who live in cities not served by a major airport (Leeds, Newcastle, Humberside region etc)

Ryanair charge you for your uniform and re-imburse you after 6 months.

If you don't like them, don't use them. They are what they are.

Never reimbused me for not allowing me on a flight coming back from Santander when I clearly had acceptable I.D. - I.D. by the way that wasn´t asked for on any of their 3 previous flights to and back from said destination - I like cheap flights but they will be a last resort in the future

Absolutely great for heading over to see my beloved Blues, no frills Dublin to Mancheste, all in for around €60 quid most of the time.
Where I'd question Ryanairs policies is when they say they travel to destinations such as Frankfurt they should let customers knowt it's bloody miles away from the city and has no rail links (at least it didn't when i was there).

Heard the rumour he was a blue alright but I'd say vocally dispalying his allegiance for the plucky underdog is nothing more than a PR stunt. He went to one of the most exclusive private schools in the country and I'd wager he'd rather be watching rugby union on a Saturday afternoon.
