Possible we were interested in either and just got a less positive response from Olise so didn't pursue it.

It's like they KNOW something the rest of the other football teams don't know about, I feel a real court case coming on.

Imagine if the powers that be introduced a draft system to stop teams doing it, or god forbid wage caps ;O

For a wage cap to be introduced it’d need to be European wide to work. You’d then see more players heading to Saudi Arabia instead. UEFA won’t want that.

The situation for me is fluid, football authorities seem to bring in rules willy nilly and will do anything to protect their brand.

The alternative would be spiralling contracts and costs where bubbles always burst, look at the PSG situation over just one player?

Then you'd guess that Santos or Ugochukwu leave on loan when Lavia comes in.
