I can’t imagine him being on the salary Clarke will be on with Scotland, never mind Tuchel. The Irish FA is small compared to their Scottish counterparts. Pure guesswork here, but I assume that Blackburn will be paying him more than the IFA.

I wasn't exactly sticking my neck on the block with that guess, was I? I'd imagine the IFA aren't very wealthy. There can't be that much money in the domestic game. On either side of the border. Pity, but I don't see that changing any time soon. So; when an EFL club with relatively wealthy owners come calling, it'd be very tempting for O'Neill. Or Keith Andrews down here
