tbf, Hucknall is not bad except his choice of football team is execrable.

Heresy, I know. But Elvis wouldn't be up there alongside some of those you listed. His voice was by no means shabby, but some of those you named are top notch.

He used to go in my local The Sycamore in Ashton at Christmas time with a girl who was the daughter of a family that partially brought Hucknall up. My late mate, Bob, used to stick his songs on the Jukebox then invite him to sing along with him. Bob called him “Simply”, tbf, he took it in good spirits.

Tight **** never got the drinks in even though he was a multimillionaire by this stage.
