Chemtrails are my favourite conspiracy theory. All those trails left by planes that we see in the summer's sky are not the scientifically proven CONTRAILS that either dissipate or spread out across the sky depending on atmospheric conditions, BUT...CHEMTRAILS that are ordered by "them" to reduce the population! The fact that we all breath in the same air doesn't matter as "they" are immune to it.

I probably agree but that suits is levels above what was available, absolutely levels. The guy who did the ape suit in POTA has said he did the suit for it which is bollocks imo. It's 10x better than the suits in that movie yet he claims he did it for some guys home movie. No chance. It still holds up to scrutiny with technology that was even thought of then.

Were those suits intended to be anatomically accurate? There's a blond ape in it, and they look to be wearing clothing without any costume fur underneath, probably to save cash.

In a feature length film you want as high quality cameras as possible but images produced by grainy camcorder can cover up the giveaway signs of a manufactured fur suit.

I'm not convinced the POTA costumes are state of the art. It's meant to be humanising style and a combination of apes and people. Tim Burton picked a similar style when there weren't the same financial constraints or limitations of developing Ape costumes. There are also practical considerations of why you don't want to tie up most of your cast in heavy makeup that takes hours to out on and is uncomfortable to film in so you get less time to shoot scenes each day. More realistic would probably mean more layers.











How about a film released in the same year with twice the budget with more photo-realistic apes? 2001: A Space Odyssey. Only thing that isn't quite up to standard is the rubber faces.

But in the bigfoot film they could get around that by shooting side on in a wide angle and from far away.

Not sure upscaling alone can really add to source footage. Any computer enhancement is possibly introducing unintentional detail.

There's just no way only one video has been taken of such an animal, and that there is no other evidence of it, since this footage. Not in North America anyway.

Unless it was since picked up by aliens.

Indeed - no bones from its predecessors found anywhere, no caves/dwellings.

Small timid antelope type creatures found in Vietnam jungle recently, understandable.

a human like creature that big, with no evidence other than a single film, no chance.

He has a bias though doesn't he? He starts out to debunk.

Still i bet he's right 99.999% of the time.

On a side note the famous Patterson/Gimlin film of a supposed Bigfoot is still debated to this day, most will dismiss it out of hand because quite rightly the chances of a missing link still being around is very very unlikely but i will tell you this. You can tell that the thing in that video has muscles under the skin that move in tandem with the movement of the "bigfoot". The film has been stabilized and enhanced and it has muscles, breasts, even a scar on it's leg. There is no way, absolutely none that someone was able to make that suit in 1967 with the resources for a fake home video. None. The original "Planet of the Apes" was released the same year with suits that are levels inferior than the supposed "Patty" suit. It would have had to have had many times the make up suit budget of that film and the worlds best effects artists working on it and i still think it wouldn't have looked that good

I know fuck all about missing links etc and find it nearly impossible to believe in them but i know a fair bit about prosthetics and make up effects and i tell you now if that's a suit its probably 20 years plus ahead of it's time yet alone that the fucking thing is about 7 and a half foot tall and doesn't look down at it's feet once while it's walking through forest.

I think he approaches it from an altruistic angle though.
He himself grew up obsessed with the UFO culture as do a few on that forum.
Probably why he argues politely and is fact/data driven. I struggle holding my tongue with the conspiracy mob after the past year.

Pretty sure his company was behind the Tony Hawks video games so worth a bit I’d imagine.

Oddly he’s been on Joe Rogan a few times and speaks quite highly of him.

Worth catching a few threads on there as to how likely their own unraveling of the UFO videos are. A few parlour trucks employed by the UFO community.

Same forensic work on COVID19 disinformation too, although BM has done a wonderful job itself over the past year.
