Microsoft Office

My mrs has just got a laptop with vista but needs to put office on it. Just the basic stuff such as word, excel etc. Is there any free and easy ways to get this?

Check to see if your company has a link up with Microsoft as you can get Office cheap, I got my copy for £18.

I've just got the full Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 for £8.95. Apparently it should be over £350 but it was an employee sort of thing called the Home Use Program. Might be worth checking out to see if you qualify.

Edit: Sorry Alan didn't see your post, I think it's the same thing but we got it for a tenner less! I also had the message on the screen for an hour before posting it as I nipped out.

If you know how to use torrents you can get a copy that's been cracked along with the key. You may need to burn the image to a DVD once it's been downloaded and then just go through the install process that you normally would with a legitimate copy.
